Recently ranked #50 on the Forbes Power Women 2020 list, Hollub has been ground breaking in her field. Forbes lists her accomplishments as:

Hollub became the first woman to head a major American oil company when she was named the president and CEO of Occidental Petroleum in April 2016.

In April 2019, Warren Buffett teamed up with Hollub to back Oxy's $57 billion bid for Anadarko Petroleum; the acquisition was completed in August.

Oxy's plans to shift toward a carbon-neutral production model, and is calling for federal legislation aimed at boosting carbon capture.

She now has sights set on pursuing investment opportunities in the Middle East.
