Greg Furseth, Chief Fiduciary Officer, TrustBank and Lois Eitel, Past President, Assitance League of the Valley present at Wine & Chocolate.

Many thanks to Lois Eitel, Past President of the Assistance League of the East Valley and our guests for kicking off the 2022 Wine & Chocolate event series at Ocotillo! The Assistance League of East Valley is a nonprofit, charitable organization committed to volunteer service in the community. In 2019-2020, members and community volunteers contributed more than 26,800 service hours, impacting the lives of more than 16,500 men, women and children.

The Assistance League of the East Valley assesses the unmet needs of the community and addresses these needs through its programs, which are evaluated annually and adjusted when necessary. The funds to support these philanthropic programs are raised through major fundraising events as well as individual, corporate and foundation support. The group also operates the Assistance League of the East Valley Thrift Shop on Alma School & Warner Road and welcomes donations Wednesday through Saturday.

The funds raised are returned to Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale and Ahwatukee communities of the East Valley through philanthropic programs including: Operation School Bell®, Assault Survivor Kits®, Adult Day Care Socials, Scholarships, and Share Our Spare.
