Please join us in welcoming Jena Lugo, CTFA, Trust Officer to the TrustBank team of partners!
Q: Why did you decide to join TrustBank?
A: I was attracted to the highly respected professional team at TrustBank. They uniquely work with their clients in a highly personal, creative and caring way. I wanted to be a part of that experience and to be able to make a positive impact as part of the team.
Q: What is it about working on Trusts that you enjoy the most?
A: My passion is helping families who have a loved one with special needs. It is a very unique and complex situation to define benefits long term for someone whom may have to reply on assistance for their lifetime. It gives me a great sense of reward to help create a caring solution.
Q: Tell us your experience in the Trust profession.
A: I graduated Cum Laude from Rasmussen College with a degree in Accounting. Prior to joining TrustBank I was a Trust Officer for First International Bank and Trust in North Dakota for over 13 years. I have a solid reputation in the legal community in working with Trust clients and have developed a strong depth of knowledge in special needs trusts. I’m a Certified Trust and Financial Advisors (CTFA) and, am seeking a designation of Chartered Special Need Specialist (CsSNC).
Q: Tell us about your connection to the community.
A: I’m proud to serve my Arizona community through a very special group called SARRC, as a Planned Advisory Committee member. SARRC is the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center.
Q: What do you do when you aren’t at work?
A: Travel is a passion, but baseball is something that I can support on a regular basis – I’m an avid fan!
